Delete your Vilkax account

This page is for Vilkax: Scam & Fraud Guard (com.getvilkax.app), published by Vilkax. It explains how to delete your account and the data attached to it, what is erased, what is kept, and for how long.

Delete it in the app - two taps

The fastest route, and the one we recommend, because you are already signed in:

Settings → Privacy → Delete my account

Confirm on that screen and the request is scheduled immediately. Nothing else is required from you, and you do not need to contact support.

If you cannot open the app - you have uninstalled it, lost the device, or changed phone - sign in and use the button below.

What happens next

• Your account is frozen straight away and every signed-in session is ended, so nobody can keep using it.
• Deletion is scheduled for 30 days later. We email you when it is scheduled and again seven days before it runs.
• During those 30 days you can cancel by signing in and choosing to keep the account. This exists so a deletion started by somebody else, on a phone you had lost, is recoverable.
• After 30 days the erasure runs and cannot be undone.

What is erased

Everything below is deleted when the erasure runs:

• Your account email, and your phone number if you added one
• Devices linked to the account, and their security posture records
• Scan and threat history, including message verdicts. We never stored the message text itself - only the verdict and its metadata
• Trusted contacts, alert channels and notification preferences
• Consent records and the signals collected under them
• Wearable stress-band and activity readings, if you granted health access

What is kept, and why

A small amount of data outlives the account because the law requires it or because it is no longer attached to you:

• Payment and invoice records - kept by our payment processor, Stripe, for the period tax and accounting law requires. We cannot shorten that.
• Security events tied to fraud or abuse investigations - retained while the investigation is open.
• Aggregated and anonymised threat statistics - these carry no identifier and cannot be traced back to you, so they are not personal data.
• Crash and performance diagnostics - held by the reporting provider for 90 days by default, then discarded.
• Signal rows - retained region-appropriately: 90 days in the EU and UK.

If you pay for Wolf or Pack Guardian

A plan you bought on vilkax.com is cancelled when the erasure runs, and the account is not erased while a subscription is still live. During the 30-day window it can still renew. To stop the next payment straight away, cancel the plan first in Settings on vilkax.com: Open billing portal, then cancel.

A plan bought through Google Play or the App Store is billed by the store, not by us. Deleting your Vilkax account does not stop it: cancel it in the store's subscription settings as well.

Want a copy first?

You can export your data before deleting it: Settings → Privacy → Export my data. Do this first if you want it - after erasure we cannot produce it.
