Content from other people, and how to report it
Some parts of the service display material that other people wrote: a message you asked us to check, a note inside a KIN circle, a support conversation. We do not monitor that material and we are not responsible for it, except where the law makes an intermediary responsible after it has knowledge of illegal content. If you believe content on our service is illegal or infringes your rights, write to legal@vilkax.com with the location of the content, why it is illegal, your contact details and a statement that your notice is accurate. We acknowledge notices within five working days and act on them without undue delay, as Article 16 of the Digital Services Act requires where it applies.
Links to other sites
This site links to third-party sites and services, including the app stores, our VPN partners and the sources of public threat intelligence we name. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Hosting and infrastructure
The site and the API are hosted on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc., with edge locations in the European Union and elsewhere. The complete list of providers that process personal data on our behalf, with the region each operates in, is the sub-processor register.
Applicable law and language
This notice and the use of this site are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania and by directly applicable European Union law. If you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. This notice is published in English; if it is translated, the English text prevails in case of a difference in meaning.
